Dear students, staff and parents,

Our annual Diograis awards ceremony is always the highlight in our busy school calendar. An evening of celebration where we acknowledge the talents and achievements of our wonderful students. Diograis also provides us with an opportunity to thank parents, staff and all in our school community for the constant support and encouragement they provide. Naturally, everyone is disappointed that our awards ceremony cannot take place this year in its traditional format yet there was a determination from the outset that the school would make every effort to acknowledge our students in as practical a way as possible.

To this end, on Monday this week, every student who was nominated by a teacher in a particular category received a postcard notifying them of their achievement. The students acknowledged, as part of our Diograis awards, have excelled in their categories and contributed greatly to our school.  You can all be very proud of yourselves. I on behalf of all our school staff would like to congratulate each and every one of you on your nomination.  Thank you for your hard work, dedication and discipline and your positive contribution to school life.

Today we reveal, through our school website, the shortlist of nominees for each award category. Given the quality of our candidates and the level of competition it is an outstanding achievement to be short listed for a Diograis award.  Well done to you all on raising the bar and setting the standard for others to follow throughout the year.
