Congratulations to GCC Graduate James Hopwood
Congratulations to former GCC student James Hopwood who has been awarded the prestigious Trinity Entrance Exhibition winner. James graduated from GCC in 2021 and is undertaking a course in Business, Economic and Social Studies (BESS). The awards ceremony will take place in Dublin on Tuesday 5 March 2024.
GCC – Munster Senior Hurling Final
We want to wish our GCC Senior hurlers all the best in the Munster Senior Colleges Final v Kilfinnan which takes place tomorrow Saturday 3 February at 2.45pm on the 4G pitch in Fethard. Our thanks to Mr Dooley and Mr Shortall for their management and support of the team. It is essential to purchase tickets for the game beforehand as no cash payment can be accepted at the gate. GCC Staff Development Day
Parents are asked to note that GCC is planning to hold a Staff Development Day on Friday 15 March 2024 which will focus on teaching and learning strategies that impact positively on student learning experiences and students outcomes. This will necessitate the closure of the school for the full day to students.
