Dear GCC Parents, Guardians & Students
GCC Retirement
We wish to announce that our Deputy Principal Seanie McGrath has informed the school and Cork ETB of his intention to retire after many years of outstanding service to GCC. We are so grateful to Seanie for the incredible support he has continually provided to students, staff and parents during his two stints in the school. We will miss the energy and expertise he has offered in so many different facets of school life, most especially in the area of Teaching & Learning. Seanie is immersed in every aspect of what is best about the school and has been an essential contributor to the continued growth and success of GCC. We look forward to continuing to work with Seanie over the next 6 months before he retires on 31 August.

- We are not able to book a place on the ski trips we organise for any student that has not paid two deposits in full.
- The school is conscious of the considerable cost to parents of school trips. Students who travel on the Ski trip in January/February will not be permitted to travel on our main TY trip (normally to a European Capital) later in the school year.
O Crualaoi – Price Increase
Our GCC school canteen service provider O Crualaoi have notified the school of a price increase which will take effect from next Monday 26 February. O Crualaoi have made every effort over recent months to maintain their current level of pricing but with constant increases in the food and staffing costs, they were left with no choice but to implement these small changes. Please click on the link below for details. O Crualaoi have been our GCC canteen service provider for nearly 5 years and we look forward to continuing working closely with them.
