First Year Students – Base Class Photos

The students are eagerly looking forward to their team building exercises with the staff from Kinsale Outdoor Education centre next week. A reminder that the briefing session for parents of 1st Year students will take place on Monday 25 September at 7.30pm.

GCC Student Development Fund 

We would like to thank all our parents for your continued support of the Student Development Fund
which allows us to maintain many of the supports we currently provide to our students. These include our book loan scheme, student insurance scheme, payment for buses, photocopying, building repairs and upgrading of school facilities. If any parent is having difficulties in paying this voluntary contribution please contact the Principal, Mr McCarthy, in confidence, and a suitable arrangement will be put in place.

Supervised Study

Parents are asked to note that Supervised Study will start on Monday 18 September and will be offered initially to 6th Year students. Students are asked to speak to Deputy Principal Ms Byrne.

Access UCC offers online DARE Clinics on applying for the Disability Access Route to Education

The Disability Access Route to Education (DARE ) scheme is a third level alternative admissions scheme for school leavers whose disabilities have had a negative impact on their second level education. DARE offers reduced points places to school leavers who, as a result of having a disability, have experienced additional educational challenges in second level education.
