On Wednesday 15th January we celebrated the success of a number of Sars county championship winning teams. Past and current students came together to show off the U21 Premier, Senior ladies Camogie and Minor Camogie county championship Trophies. The social area was full as the teams were welcomed on stage by Mr. Kennefick and then addressed by Mr. McCarthy, Mr. Young and Mr.Baldwin. Jack O’Connor, current Cork senior hurler, then spoke followed by the Minor Camogie captain, Rionna O’Mahony. The message that rang clear was the need for hard work, dedication and the benefits of combining study with participating in school teams and activities. It was great to welcome all our past pupils back and we look forward to further success and many more visits with silverware.
